Sixty swimmers participated Zone 2 short course championships meet last weekend on Feb 20 & 21 at San Roman.  It was a great experience for all our CDST swimmers and parents in raining weekend.   All of our swimmers got personal best,  some of got new A times and other may got new JO time, Far Western or PRT time, and it’s just too much to list all, followings are just some of the highlights:

Last year Zone 2 championship our team won the 10^th place with 910.5 points , and this year we finished 5^th place as a team with 1540.5 points. 

A huge round of applause for the boys 11-12 boys relay teams won the 1^st place for 200 M.R (1:56.10) and 200 F.R. (1:42.80), and both are NRT time. Excellent job: Jordan Vega, Eric Lee, Steven Lau and Misha Galant.  

On our younger swimmers site, Suri, Catherine, Meghna, Shreya, and Andreadid wonderful job wining girls 8 & under relays in both 100 M.R. 1:20.64 and 100 F.R. 1:08.33. 10 & under girls team won 2^nd place in both relays ( Jessica, Clarissa, Ingrid, Lily), and 10 & under boys relay A team ( Kevin Cui, Christopher Ha, Mars Lu, Andrew Nguyen) won the 1^st place in both 200 M.R. 2:17.57 and 200 F.R. 2:00.52.

New Far Western Qualifiers:

Andrew Lou , age 12, (200 Free (2:09.42), 200 I.M. (2:26.07).

Dustin Lam100 breaststroke 1:08.65. 

11-12 boys B team relays ( Andrew Lau, Nicholas Cai, Kuankang Pan and Ivan Gunady ) in 200 M.R.2:06.29 and 200 F.R. 1:50.18

10 & under boys relay team: Kevin Cui, Christopher Ha, Mars Lu, Andrew Nguyen

Congratulations to two CDST swimmers who received high point winner award for great performance they did in this meet: Kevin Cui  with 139 points for boys 10 & under, and Suri Yu with 144.0 points for girls 8 & under.

Thanks to all our parents who volunteered the hours working at the meet. There will be no such wonderful swims without your help and support.
